Graphics, Layout, Color can be tweaked

Hey everybody, I am sorry I didn't make it to class, but here are the ad designs.

So, I could tweak a couple of things on the cards, that need re-working, or we could send them to Jan's contact. He could edit them, or scrap them altogether. The print shops I am talking to have a turnaround of 24 hours or less. I can have them printed tonight/tomorrow. I would gladly post them around the school tomorrow, or over the break.

great job claire,
I think your layout is good, we get the emphasis on give, make, swap, I like the black background too. heard about blackle? black version of google.. saves energy. the font is fun too. i like the t-shirt graphics and how they follow through each poster. I think you did a pretty good job getting the point across with the other pictures, they were hard i bet. have a gret thanksgiving!

I really like the design of the postcards so far. I think the images are really good. The only thing i would reconsider is maybe the black background. I think looking at some different options for the backgrounds may be helpful. As soon as we can i think they should be printed and then we can start to get the work out. Great job Claire!

claire, i like what you have a lot. i like the black background because i think it makes the words and images stand out more. the one suggestion i would say is maybe move the bottom images a little more away from the bottom word. i think the 'give a shirt,' 'make a shirt,' 'swap a shirt' all flow together but the 'a damn,' 'a change,' and 'ideas' dont flow with what it's suposed to. the images being directly in front of the words connect them together too much and it might not be easy to associate it with the give, make, swap. that's just how i saw it though. it really does look great though

I think the connection to Blackle is great. Anne can you say more about your comment?

I really think it needs to say GIVE it up, MAKE it up, SWAP it up at the top so people can connect it to the other stickers that we have/are making. The typeface already will not match.

I am not so keen on the emphasis on shirts b/c there is so much more than that and I think we have come up with ways of conveying broader ideas.

Typeface of Ad and Stickers don't have to be different. Either the font of the stickers could change to Action (which came standard on Microsoft Word), or I could maybe change the font on the Ad.
